Early Career and Raja CA
Born in Casablanca in 1996, Rahimi developed his professional skills through the ranks of Raja CA. After a loan spell at Étoile de Casablanca, he returned to Raja to become a key contributor in their most successful period. Between 2018 and 2021, he helped the club capture the 2019–20 Botola title, the 2018 and 2020–21 CAF Confederation Cup, the 2019 CAF Super Cup, and the 2019–20 Arab Club Champions Cup. He earned multiple individual honors during this time, including the 2019–20 Botola Best Player award.

In August 2021, Rahimi transitioned to the Emirati club Al Ain. His impact was immediate, with a debut goal coming against Al-Ittihad Kalba in September. His tenure in the UAE has been defined by prolific scoring, most notably during the 2023–24 AFC Champions League. Rahimi finished that tournament as the top scorer with 13 goals, leading Al Ain to the title after defeating Yokohama F. Marinos in the final. His contributions included a hat-trick against Al Hilal SFC, which snapped a 34-game winning streak for the Saudi side.
International Milestones
Rahimi first gained international prominence at the 2020 African Nations Championship, where he led Morocco to victory as both the top scorer and best player of the tournament. His record-breaking pace continued into the 2024 Summer Olympics, where his eight goals made him the highest-scoring Moroccan in Olympic football history. He has also represented his country at the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup, the 2021 and 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, and the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he scored against Haiti and Canada.
