Sokratis Papastathopoulos (born 1988) is a Greek association football player. Papastathopoulos was born in Kalamata on 9 June 1988.

Papastathopoulos competed in association football as a centre-back. His career took in AEK Athens F.C. (2005–2008), 58 appearances and 1 goal, SV Werder Bremen (2011–2012), 30 appearances and 1 goal, Genoa CFC (2008–2010), 51 appearances and 2 goals, Niki Volos F.C. Papastathopoulos appeared at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, the 2010 FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro 2012 and the 2020 FA Cup Final.
