Siphiwe Tshabalala

South African footballer

Siphiwe Tshabalala (born 1984) is a South African footballer. Tshabalala was born in Soweto on 25 September 1984.

Tshabalala competed in association football as a full-back. His career took in Free State Stars F.C. (2004–2007), 64 appearances and 31 goals, Kaizer Chiefs F.C. (2007–2018), 292 appearances and 48 goals, the South Africa men's national association football team (2006–2017), 90 appearances and 12 goals, Erzurumspor F.K. (2018–2019), 17 appearances and AmaZulu F.C. (2020–2021), 2 appearances. He had begun working by 2003.

Tshabalala appeared at the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup, the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations.

Free State Stars F.C. was founded in 1977.
