Training and Early Theatre
Born in Moscow in 1973 to parents Natalia and Vitali Bezrukov, he attended secondary school No. 402. He entered the Moscow Art Theatre School in 1990, completing his studies in 1994 within the workshop of Oleg Tabakov. Upon graduation, he secured a position with the Moscow Theater Studio under Tabakov. His stage performances have garnered critical recognition, including the Figaro Award and praise for his portrayal of Chichikov in Dead Souls.

His national prominence grew significantly in 2002 following his casting as the gang leader Sasha Belov in the crime drama series Brigada. The show became a defining cultural marker, transforming him into a household name. He expanded his repertoire into animation, providing the voice for the title character in the film Prince Vladimir, and later portrayed Alexander Pushkin in the 2006 production Pushkin: The Last Duel.
Public and Political Engagement
Beyond his creative output as an actor, singer, poet, and guitarist, he has engaged in various political and civic spheres. He is a member of the Supreme Council of the United Russia party. In 2014, he signed a letter endorsing the position of President Vladimir Putin regarding military intervention in Ukraine. He later advocated for the 2020 constitutional amendments concerning the definition of marriage in Russia.
