Early Career and European Progression
Born in São Paulo in 1972, Barrichello established his foundation in karting before relocating to Europe in 1990. Barrichello spent four seasons with Jordan starting in 1993, earning his first podium at the 1994 Pacific Grand Prix. Following a stint with Stewart between 1997 and 1999, he joined Ferrari in 2000. Partnering with Michael Schumacher, he contributed to five consecutive World Constructors' Championships, securing 51 podiums in 85 Grands Prix. After a tenure with Honda and Brawn GP, he finished his career at Williams, retiring in 2011 with 14 pole positions and 17 fastest laps.
Post-Formula One and Current Activities
In 2012, he competed in the IndyCar Series with KV Racing Technology.
