Robin Alexander Schulz began his career as a disc jockey in Osnabrück at age 17, eventually securing a dedicated club night three years later. Since moving into music production in 2009, he has built a global presence through high-charting remixes and studio albums that have garnered billions of streams across digital platforms.
Breakthrough in Electronic Production
Schulz gained international recognition in 2014 following the release of his remix of Mr. Probz's track Waves. Released in North America on 4 February and Europe on 7 February, the song reached the top of the charts in several countries, including the United Kingdom and Germany. This work earned a nomination for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards. Shortly after, his remix of Prayer in C, originally by Lilly Wood and the Prick, achieved widespread chart success across Europe, reaching the top 10 in Australia and New Zealand.

The release of his debut album, Prayer, was followed by his second studio effort, Sugar, on 25 September 2015. This collection featured collaborations with artists such as Francesco Yates and Ilsey. The title track, Sugar, achieved significant reach, surpassing one billion streams on Spotify. His subsequent output continued with the release of Uncovered in 2017, followed by IIII in 2021 and Pink in 2023.
Collaborations and Media Projects
Beyond his solo releases, Schulz has collaborated with figures such as David Guetta and the trio Cheat Codes on the 2016 single Shed a Light. His professional activities expanded into documentary film with the 2017 release of a 90-minute project titled Robin Schulz – The Movie. This documentary featured appearances from producers including Lost Frequencies, Sam Feldt, and Axwell and Ingrosso. The film also provided a platform to introduce his fashion line, Q/S Designed by Robin Schulz.
