Personal Life and Family
In 1984, Cramling met Spanish grandmaster Juan Manuel Bellón López in Zürich; the pair married four years later. Following her 1992 promotion, they became the first chess couple where both partners held the grandmaster title. The couple lived in Spain for several years before returning to Sweden. Their daughter, Anna Bellón Cramling, is a Woman FIDE Master and content creator. Additionally, Pia is the younger sister of Swedish International Master Dan Cramling.
