Early Development in Ostrava
Born in 1998 in Münchberg to parents Martin Janeček and Zuzana Janečková, she moved to Ostrava in the Czech Republic during her early childhood. Her initial exposure to music began at age four. Following primary education, she enrolled at the Janáček Conservatory Ostrava to pursue professional vocal training. Her development was further supported by private studies with Czech soprano Eva Dřízgová-Jirušová.

Her public career included a debut performance at the Antonín Dvořák Theatre alongside the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2011, at age 13, she released her debut album. She later achieved success in the Concorso Internazionale di Musica Sacra in Rome in 2014. Her repertoire ranged from classical opera, such as the role of Galatea in Handel's Acis and Galatea during the 2017 Janáček Music Festival, to emotive renditions of Ennio Morricone's themes at the Rudolfinum in Prague.
Health Challenges and Final Work
On 10 February 2022, Janečková announced a diagnosis of breast cancer, leading to a temporary hiatus from professional obligations. Despite this, she returned to the stage on 15 December 2022 to perform Esmeralda in Smetana's The Bartered Bride. During this period, she collaborated with oboist Vilém Veverka on a 2022 Christmas album and married actor Vlastimil Burda in June 2023. Radio Čas organized a fundraising concert in January 2023 to assist with her medical care.
Legacy and Passing
Janečková passed away on 1 October 2023 at the age of 25 in Ostrava. Her funeral mass took place at the Roman Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit in the Zábřeh borough of Ostrava-Jih. She is buried in the Ondrejský Cemetery in Bratislava. Her recorded output remains, including her self-titled 2011 release and the collaborative album with Vilém Veverka.
