Olaf I of Norway (960–1000) was a Norwegian warrior and monarch. He was born in Norway in 960. He died in Battle of Svolder on 9 September 1000, at the age of 40.
Olaf I of Norway was the son of Tryggve Olafsson and Astrid Eiriksdatter. He married Geira and Tyra of Denmark. He had one recorded child, Tryggvi the Pretender.
