Jokić joined the Denver Nuggets for the 2015-16 campaign. His rookie performance earned him a spot on the NBA All-Rookie First Team after finishing third in the Rookie of the Year voting. He gradually increased his output, recording early career highs in points and assists against the Toronto Raptors and Charlotte Hornets. By the 2018-19 season, he secured his inaugural All-Star selection and All-NBA First Team nod.

Championship Success and Individual Accolades

The 2022-23 season marked a significant milestone as Jokić led the Nuggets to their first-ever NBA championship, earning both the Western Conference Finals MVP and the Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP awards.
