Mohammed Zahir Shah (1914–2007) was a politician. He was born in Kabul on 15 October 1914. He died in Kabul on 23 July 2007, at the age of 93.

Mohammed Zahir Shah received Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour, Royal Victorian Chain (1972), Order of the Supreme Sun, Grand Cross Special Class of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany (1963) and Grand Cordon of the National Order of the Cedar. He was educated at Lycée Janson-de-Sailly, Military College Jhelum and Habibia High School.
Mohammed Zahir Shah was the son of Mohammed Nadir Shah and Mah Parwar Begum. He married Humaira Begum. He had four recorded children, Princess Bilqis Begum of Afghanistan, Muhammad Akbar Khan, Crown Prince of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Khan, Crown Prince of Afghanistan and Princess Maryam Begum of Afghanistan. He is recorded as following Sunni Islam.
