Born on 9 May 2000 in Taher, Amoura refined his skills in his home country. His performance during the 2020–21 season with ES Sétif proved significant for his career progression, as he recorded 13 goals across 25 matches. Amoura transitioned to the Swiss Super League on 29 August 2021, signing a four-year agreement with FC Lugano. During his time there, he contributed to the squad winning the 2021–22 Swiss Cup. On 17 August 2023, he transferred to the Belgian Pro League to play for Union SG on a four-year contract that included an extension option. His tenure in Belgium saw the club secure the 2023–24 Belgian Cup. By 8 July 2024, he moved to Germany to join VfL Wolfsburg.
International Representation
Eligible to represent Algeria, France, and Belgium, Amoura opted for his country of birth. He made an impact on 17 June 2021 by scoring four goals during a 5–1 victory against Liberia while playing for the Algeria A' squad. He transitioned to the senior team later that year. Subsequent major appearances included the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations squad and the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he was selected by manager Vladimir Petković. On 25 March 2025, he completed his first hat-trick for the national team.
