Mehdi Taremi (born 1992) is an Iranian footballer. He was born in Bushehr on 18 July 1992.

Mehdi Taremi competed in association football as a forward. His career took in Shahin Bushehr F.C. (2010–2012), 8 appearances and 1 goal, Iranjavan F.C. (2012–2014), 22 appearances and 12 goals, Persepolis F.C. (2014–2018), 87 appearances and 45 goals, the Iran national under-20 football team (2011–2012), 6 appearances and 2 goals and the Iran national under-23 football team (in 2013), 1 appearance. He had begun working by 2010.

Mehdi Taremi appeared at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the 2019 AFC Asian Cup and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
