His bibliographical output includes Contes et légendes de l'Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse, published in 2000, followed by Quand l'Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse se met à table in 2002, and Autres contes de l'Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse in 2004. In 2008, he released Histoires de l'Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse with Éditions Racine. His later works include a 2013 book detailing the life of Bulgarian political refugee Ivan Ivanof, and the 2020 release Balades entre châteaux et légendes. He also wrote on the subject of sustainable energy in his 2014 book regarding Fernand Platbrood.

Vandeweyer expressed his creative output through various media beyond prose. As a comics artist, he authored titles such as Le Comte à la houssette in 1980, Landru in 1987, and Le Fraudeur Calteau in 1990. In 2012, he partnered with Christophe Delire and Martine Jamin to establish the Compagnie du Tradery, a puppet theatre troupe for which he wrote the show La Geste de Guillaume.
