Thai cardinal

Kriengsak Kovitvanit (born 1949) is a Thai theologian, Catholic priest and Catholic bishop. Kovitvanit was born in Bang Rak on 27 June 1949.

Kovitvanit held office as cardinal priest (from 2015), Catholic archbishop (2009–2024), diocesan bishop (2007–2009) and President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Thailand.

Kovitvanit took part in the 2025 conclave. He was educated at Pontifical Gregorian University, Pontifical Urbaniana University and Joseph Upatham School.

Kovitvanit is recorded as following the Catholic Church.
