Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz (born 1959) is the 12th Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland. Marcinkiewicz was born in Gorzów Wielkopolski on 20 December 1959.
Marcinkiewicz served as Mayor of Warsaw (in 2006), Prime Minister of Poland (2005–2006) and member of the Sejm (1997–2006). He was attached to Goldman Sachs, Powszechna Kasa Oszczędności Bank Polski and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Marcinkiewicz was awarded Officer of the Legion of Honour (2007). He was elected to Solidarity. He was educated at University of Wrocław, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and Faculty of Law and Administration of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
