Professional Honors and Recognition
Throughout her later years, Fehér received various accolades for her contributions to classical music. She held the Golden Medal and Diploma from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. In 1987, the Weizmann Institute of Science granted her an honorary doctorate. Additionally, she was named an honorary citizen of Holon, the city where she resided, and she received the King Solomon Award from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation during a Carnegie Hall celebration.
