Early Development
Born in Dhaka on 15 October 1979, Habib Wahid is the son of singer Ferdous Wahid and Roksana Wahid. His family roots trace back to South Paiksha in Srinagar, Munshiganj. During his youth, he attended South Breeze School located in the Dhanmondi area of Dhaka, laying the foundation for a career that would later see him integrate diverse production styles into the regional musical landscape.

Following his debut, Wahid maintained an intensive release schedule throughout the early 2000s, producing albums such as Maya, Moina Go, and Shono. His production approach often prioritized the discovery of new vocalists, including artists like Nancy, Julee, and Shireen. In 2011, his contributions to the film industry were recognized when he received the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Music Director for his work on the movie Projapoti.
Shift to Single Releases
Starting in 2015, Wahid shifted his primary focus toward individual single releases, citing the evolving demands of the music market and digital consumption habits. Projects during this period included the R&B-influenced 'Hariye Fela Bhalobasha' and the collaborative promotional track 'Cholo Bangladesh' for the 2015 Cricket World Cup. By 2025, his output continued to gain international traction, evidenced by 'Moha Jadu', a track produced for Coke Studio Bangla that garnered over 30 million views within its first month of release.
