Ghulam Ishaq Khan (1915–2006) was the 7th President of Pakistan. He was born in Bannu District on 20 January 1915. He died in Peshawar on 27 October 2006, at the age of 91.
Ghulam Ishaq Khan served as President of Pakistan (1988–1993), Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan (1985–1988), Federal Minister for Finance (1977–1985) and Defence Secretary of Pakistan (1975–1977). He was attached to Indian Civil Service.
