Born in Shah Alam, Selangor, on 5 July 1987, Elyana is the second child of Emrizal Shamsuddin and Shamsidar Alias. Her household included three siblings. Her commercial record releases include four studio albums: Satu, released in 2002; Segalanya, released in 2003; Bicara Mata Ini, released in 2005; and Jadi Diriku, released in 2007. In 2012, she issued a compilation album titled Terbaik... Elyana. These works solidified her position in the Malaysian industry, characterized by a transition from initial ballad-focused material to a more distinct pop rock sound.
Personal Health and Family
In 2010, she married Khairul Anuar Husin, and the couple has a daughter named Cinta Sumayyah. Following her elimination from the television program Gegar Vaganza 4, she revealed a diagnosis of stage four lymphoma cancer, a condition she had been managing for seven years. After ongoing medical treatment, she announced in December 2021 that she was free from the disease. In October 2018, she expanded her family by adopting a son with Down syndrome.
