In 2009, songwriters Hanne Sørvaag and Fredrik Kempe created the song My Heart Is Yours specifically for his entry into the 2010 national Eurovision selection. He won the national final held at Oslo Spektrum on 6 February 2010. During the international final, he placed 20th out of 25 participants. Later that year, he released his second single, Best Kept Secret, followed by the debut album titled Guilty Pleasures on 1 November 2010.
Television and Competition Appearances
Beyond his musical releases, Solli-Tangen has maintained a presence on Norwegian television. In 2014, he served as a co-host for the program Skal vi danse, though he was forced to step down temporarily due to emergency surgery for appendicitis. In 2020, he and his brother, Emil Solli-Tangen, participated in the Melodi Grand Prix. He also competed in the 2021 edition of Maskorama, performing in a costume resembling a snow monster and eventually winning the competition.
