By the final two seasons, she became one of the highest-paid television actresses in history, earning one million dollars per episode. Alongside her television work, she portrayed Gale Weathers in the Scream horror franchise, beginning in 1996 and continuing through subsequent sequels.
Production and Directorial Work
Beyond acting, Cox established the production company Coquette Productions alongside David Arquette. She later expanded her creative involvement to include directing and producing.
