Early Education and Musical Training
Born in 1965 in the town of Sonsbeck, North Rhine-Westphalia, Brüx attended the Städtisches Stiftsgymnasium Xanten until 1985. His formal musical foundation began with piano lessons during his youth, eventually leading him to graduate from a music conservatoire. This academic background provided the technical base for his subsequent career in composition and arrangement.

Brüx established a presence in the German music industry as a composer, arranger, and producer. His work includes collaborations with notable acts such as No Angels, Matthias Reim, Brooklyn Bounce, and The Underdog Project, the latter of which recorded the track Summer Jam. His involvement with the group No Angels contributed to the success of the album Pure, which secured the number one spot on German album charts and reached top-ten positions in Switzerland and Austria. He also formed the bands SMC Unity alongside Sofie St. Claire and Matthias Menck, as well as the group Dolphin Sound with Menck.
Film and Media Contributions
Beyond studio albums, Brüx expanded his portfolio into film scoring and corporate media. His score for the project TKKG – Der Club der Detektive earned a nomination for the Goldener Spatz, a German children’s media festival, in 2007. His filmography credits include the 2004 short film Für die Familie, the 2005 television series Alina, and the 2005 television movie Alinas Traum. He also directed the underwater video titled Niklas' Theme, which reflects his focus on environmental themes.

Operating from his studio in Hamburg, Brüx divides his time between musical composition and visual arts, specifically painting and sculpture.
