Chen Long

Chinese badminton player

Chen Long is a Chinese badminton player, born in Shashi District in 1989.

His honours include Badminton Hall of Fame, world champion, Olympic silver medal, Olympic bronze medal, Asian champion, Asian Games champion, East Asian Games champion and Olympic gold medal. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2016 Summer Olympics. He also featured at the 2018 Badminton World Championships – men's singles, the 2017 Badminton World Championships – men's singles and the 2015 Badminton World Championships – men's singles.

Within badminton, Chen Long is remembered for a record that stands up against anything his generation produced.
