In 1967, director Giuseppe Colizzi cast him alongside Mario Girotti in the film God Forgives... I Don't!. This marked the beginning of a professional partnership with Terence Hill that spanned 18 films. The duo gained significant recognition in Europe and Asia for their work in the spaghetti Western genre, including the films They Call Me Trinity and its sequel, Trinity Is Still My Name. They concluded their joint screen appearances with the 1994 release, Troublemakers.
