Bola Tinubu (born 1952) is the 12th Governor of Lagos (1999–2007) and President of Nigeria since 2023. Tinubu was born in Lagos on 29 March 1952.
Tinubu served as Governor of Lagos State (1999–2007), President of Nigeria (from 2023), senator (1992–1993) and Chairperson of ECOWAS (2023–2025). He was attached to Arthur Andersen, Deloitte and GTE.
Tinubu was awarded President of Nigeria and Governor of Lagos State. He was educated at Chicago State University (bachelor's degree).
Tinubu was the son of Abibatu Mogaji. He married Oluremi Tinubu. He is recorded as following Islam.
