Artem Milevskyi, a former professional footballer, rose to prominence as a second striker after joining Dynamo Kyiv in 2002. Known for his technical skill and physicality, he earned 50 caps for the Ukrainian national team, representing his country at both the 2006 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2012 before announcing his retirement in September 2021.
Early Career and Dynamo Kyiv Years
Born in Minsk in 1985, Milevskyi played youth football at Smena Minsk before moving to Borysfen Boryspil. Upon joining Dynamo Kyiv, he made his Champions League debut in 2003 against Internazionale. His performance improved significantly during the 2005–06 season, and by the 2008–09 campaign, he achieved a career-high 18 goals in 41 matches. He followed this with 19 goals the next season, including a four-goal performance against Mariupol Illichivets in 2010. His production declined during the 2011–12 season, leading to his release in 2013.

Milevskyi initially played for the Belarus under-16 squad before transitioning to Ukrainian nationality. This change required negotiations between the two football federations. He participated in the 2004 UEFA European Under-19 Championship and the 2006 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, where he was named to the Team of the Tournament. At the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, he notably executed a Panenka-style penalty against Switzerland during the round of 16 shootout, helping Ukraine advance to the quarter-finals.
Post-Kyiv Journeys
Following his exit from Dynamo Kyiv, Milevskyi signed a three-year deal with Gaziantepspor in 2013, though his tenure ended after a vehicle accident. He subsequently moved to Croatia to play for Hajduk Split, where he contributed both assists and goals in limited appearances. His later career involved brief stints with several clubs, including RNK Split, FC Tosno, and Dynamo Brest. In December 2020, he returned to the Ukrainian Premier League by signing with Mynai, where he concluded his professional career in September 2021.
