A 1995 film audition in Kuala Lumpur served as the catalyst for the career of Angelica Lee, who was discovered by Sylvia Chang at nineteen. Since that point, the Malaysian artist has built a professional portfolio that spans acting, singing, screenwriting, and directing across Taiwan, Hong Kong, and her home country.
Early Development and Musical Beginnings
Born on 23 January 1976 in Alor Setar, Lee grew up as the daughter of a homemaker and a motorcycle shop proprietor. During her formative years, she demonstrated an early inclination toward the arts, frequently participating in primary school singing competitions and managing the drama club while attending Keat Hwa Secondary School.
