Abdul Halim of Kedah (1927–2017) was the 5th Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Sultan of Kedah. He was born in Alor Setar on 28 November 1927. He died in Alor Setar on 11 September 2017, at the age of 90.
Abdul Halim of Kedah served as Sultan of Kedah (1958–2017), Yang di-Pertuan Agong (2011–2016) and Yang di-Pertuan Agong (1970–1975).
Abdul Halim of Kedah was awarded Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Bath, Nishan-e-Pakistan (1974), Collar of the Supreme Order of the Chrysanthemum and anniversary medal at the occasion of the 2500th anniversary of the founding of the Iranian Empire. He studied at Wadham College.
Abdul Halim of Kedah was the son of Badlishah of Kedah. He married Tuanku Bahiyah and Sultanah Haminah Hamidun. He had one recorded child, Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz. He is recorded as following Sunni Islam.
