A songwriter on a variety show
The season 14 results table lists Pecora as a Golden Buzzer act. That matters more for a writer than for a singer: the buzzer bought her repeated national airtime for original songs rather than for covers, which is the rarer proposition on a format built around instant recognition.
She was 15, from Danville in northern California, and performed with a guitar rather than a backing production. On a show whose live rounds are dominated by dance troupes, magicians and full-scale stage productions, a teenager with an acoustic guitar is the outlier act.
The elimination that annoyed the audience
On 15 August 2019 Talent Recap reported fans outraged at her elimination and asked openly whether she could return as a wildcard. Audience anger at a results show is common; anger on behalf of a songwriter rather than a spectacle act is not.
That reaction is the most useful evidence about her performance. Public votes are blunt instruments, and a result that a section of the audience rejects on the night tends to indicate an act whose appeal was building faster than the voting window allowed.
To Save the World
In July 2022 Talent Recap reported the release of her EP, To Save the World, describing it as heartfelt. Three years is a normal gap between a televised run and a first serious release: it is roughly how long it takes to write, record and release a body of work without a label doing it for you.
The EP is the most concrete outcome of her time on the show. A talent-show placing expires; a record does not, and it is the thing that lets a performer be judged on the material rather than on a results night.
What is documented — and what is not
Documented: her Golden Buzzer status in season 14, her age of 15, Danville, California as her home town, the fan reaction to her 2019 elimination, and the 2022 EP To Save the World. The research record gives her birth year as 2004.
Widely repeated but not confirmed by the sources used here: that her original audition song was about bullying. The research record flags that claim as unverified, so this page does not assert it. Also undocumented here: her audition song title, her exact finishing round, and anything after 2022.

Hacer la prueba de CI →Why an original song is the harder route
Talent-show audiences vote fastest for the familiar. A cover carries the memory of the original into the room; an original song has ninety seconds to build everything from scratch, in front of an audience holding a phone.
Pecora took the harder route and got far enough that her removal became a story in its own right. The measurable record is a Golden Buzzer, a live-rounds run at 15, a viewer backlash at her exit, and an EP released under her own name three years later — which, for a teenage songwriter, is a better outcome than most winners manage.
