The 2019 final ten
Newsweek listed the season 14 finalists of America's Got Talent and named Benicio Bryant among them, alongside the Detroit Youth Choir and the singer Kodi Lee. The season results table on Wikipedia, used here as a secondary reference, records his age as 15 at the time.
Reaching the final ten of that show is a matter of surviving several rounds of public voting against acts with almost nothing in common: choirs, magicians, comedians, acrobats. A teenage singer-songwriter with an unusual, breathy delivery had to hold an audience that had just watched a man swallow fire. He did, week after week, until the last show of the season.
Maple Valley to a record contract
By July 2021 Talent Recap reported that Bryant was releasing back-to-back summer singles under Arista Records, the Sony-owned label. A major-label deal is the outcome that talent shows advertise and rarely deliver; for a contestant who did not win his season, it was the practical prize.
The pairing of releases mattered as much as the signature. Two singles across one summer is the behaviour of an artist being worked rather than parked, which is the difference between a contract and a career.
Going independent
In July 2023 Talent Recap reported that he had begun an independent career with a single it described as a "galactic bop", "Move to Mars". The research record summarises his position the same way: an independent artist after an Arista deal.
Leaving a major label is not, by itself, a setback or a triumph, and none of the sources gathered here explains the reason for the change. What they establish is continuity: four years after the television final, he was still writing and releasing songs under his own name.
Where Benicio Bryant is now
The trail in this record ends in mid-2023. No source read here documents releases, tours or signings after "Move to Mars", and none gives his date of birth; the research record lists 2004, consistent with the age of 15 recorded for the 2019 season.
Nor do these sources say anything about his schooling, his family or where he lives now. He was a minor when he became famous, and this page keeps to what was published about his work.

Hacer la prueba de CI →Why the after-story is the story
The interesting question about talent-show teenagers is never the audition. It is whether the machinery around them produces anything durable. In Bryant's case the documented answer is partly yes: a top-ten finish on the biggest variety show in the United States, a major-label deal within two years, then a deliberate move to release music independently.
That is a rarer arc than the show's own publicity suggests. It also explains the questions people type about him years later: how old he is, what happened with Arista, and whether he is still making music. The record supports the first and the second, and falls silent on the present day.
