Research, data, spokesperson and contact details for journalists covering intelligence, genius and child prodigies.
Geniuses.club is a free reference on exceptional human achievement, published in thirteen languages: about 31,900 biographies of scientists, artists, athletes, inventors and child prodigies, a twelve-test IQ suite, and original research on intelligence and genius.
Twenty questions, eight minutes on the clock, and a percentile measured against everyone who has taken it. No sign-up.
Take the IQ test →What we cover
- Famous IQ claims and where they really come from
- Child prodigies and what became of them
- Historical estimates of genius, from Catharine Cox's 1926 study to modern research
- Nobel, Fields, Turing and Wolf Prize laureates
- High-IQ societies and how intelligence tests work
Editorial standards
Accuracy before speed, and sources before numbers. We attach no IQ figure to a living person without a citable source, and none to anyone under 18. Historical IQ figures are labelled as retrospective estimates, with the estimator named. Every research release publishes its method and its limitations, and every correction is dated.
Research
- Famous IQ Claims, Fact-Checked (October 2026). 89 widely repeated IQ figures traced to their source: 53 have no traceable source, and only 6 rest on a test result on record. The full dataset is free to reuse under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0.
- Next: What Happened to the Child Prodigies? A long-run look at adult outcomes, built from the prodigy biographies on Geniuses.club.
