These terms govern your use of Geniuses.Club and any purchase you make on it. Please read them before buying an IQ result.

1. Who we are

Geniuses.Club ("Geniuses Club", "we") is operated by Adir Trabelsi, a sole trader established in Portugal. Address: Rua Gonçalo Cristóvão 128, 12th floor, 4000-252 Porto, Portugal. Tax and VAT number: PT299350720. Email: [email protected].

2. Using the site

Most of the site is free: biographies, quotes, games, puzzles and IQ tests. Use it lawfully. Do not copy the site in bulk, scrape it with automated tools (search engines excepted), disrupt it, or misuse other people's data. We may suspend access that breaks these rules.

3. Accounts

Some features need an account. Keep your sign-in details private and tell us if your account is used without permission. You can delete your account at any time by writing to us.

4. Content and conversations with historical figures

Texts, images and software on the site are protected by copyright. You may read, share links and quote short passages with attribution; other copying needs our written permission. Conversations with historical figures are generated by artificial intelligence. They are simulations for education and entertainment, may contain errors, are not the real person's words and are not professional advice.

5. What our IQ tests are

Our IQ tests estimate reasoning ability from an online test taken without supervision. The result is an estimate with a range of uncertainty. It is not a clinical, psychological, medical, educational or employment assessment, not a diagnosis, and not an admission credential for Mensa or any other society. Mensa is a trademark of its owner; we are not affiliated with it. Results depend on test conditions; we flag attempts that look rushed. Do not use a result for hiring, school placement, medical or legal decisions.

6. Children's puzzles

The children's IQ puzzles are designed for ages 6 to 12, to be used together with a parent. They ask for no name, email or account, carry no advertising and no affiliate tracking, and store only an anonymous score for statistics. Purchases are for adults only.

8. Right of withdrawal and 14-day refund guarantee

Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content supplied at once, you ask us to start supply before that period ends and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once supply begins (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; Article 17(1)(a) of Portuguese Decree-Law 24/2014). We confirm this by email. In addition, we voluntarily refund any order in full if you ask within 14 days of purchase: write to [email protected] with your order number. Refunds go back to the original payment method. This guarantee adds to your legal rights and does not reduce them.

9. If something is wrong

If your result, certificate or report is not as described, cannot be opened or is faulty, tell us. Under the law on digital content (Directive (EU) 2019/770; Portuguese Decree-Law 84/2021) you are entitled to have it fixed or, if that is not possible, to a price reduction or a full refund.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Within those limits, free features are provided as they are, and our total liability for a paid result is limited to the price you paid for it. We are not responsible for decisions others make on the basis of a test result.

12. Complaints and dispute resolution

Write to [email protected] first; we answer within 10 working days. You may also use the Portuguese Electronic Complaints Book at www.livroreclamacoes.pt. For out-of-court resolution, consumers may contact CICAP, the Consumer Information and Arbitration Centre of Porto (www.cicap.pt), or another competent entity listed at www.consumidor.gov.pt. Consumer disputes up to EUR 5,000 may be referred to arbitration under Portuguese Law 63/2019.

13. Applicable law and courts

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim in its courts. Residents of the United States keep all rights that their state law grants them.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you placed an order applies to that order. The date at the top shows the latest update.
