The moniker Bullet was earned at age 12, when Valentina Shevchenko knocked out a 22-year-old opponent in a kickboxing match. Since those early days in the ring, she has built a combat career spanning Muay Thai, kickboxing, taekwondo, and mixed martial arts, securing professional championships across these distinct disciplines while representing Kyrgyzstan and Peru on the global stage.
Foundations in Combat
Born on March 7, 1988, in Frunze, Kirghiz SSR, Soviet Union, Shevchenko grew up in a family of military servicemen. Her mother, Elena Shevchenko, served as the president of the national Muay Thai association, while her father, Anatoly, was a former Soviet Navy veteran. Influenced by her mother and older sister Antonina, she began taekwondo training at age five. By age 12, she expanded her repertoire to include Muay Thai, kickboxing, and freestyle Vale Tudo.
