Tatyana Anatoliyevna Dogileva launched her professional journey in 1978 with a graduation from the Lunacharsky State Institute of Theatrical Art. Early Theatrical Success
Dogileva established herself at the Lenin Komsomol Theater after performing Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing. Her tenure at the theater lasted until 1985, featuring in notable productions such as Cruel Games. She later joined the Yermolova Theatre, collaborating with directors Valery Fokin and Roman Viktyuk on projects including Our Decameron. In 1994, she drew significant critical acclaim for her portrayal of Electra in Peter Stein’s eight-hour rendition of Oresteia.

Her screen debut occurred in 1971, followed by her first major role as Nina in the 1978 film The Stowaway Passenger. She gained widespread recognition in the 1980s for roles in The Blonde Around the Corner and Forgotten Melody for a Flute. Throughout her career, which includes over 80 films, she explored varied portrayals ranging from Afghan Breakdown to later appearances in titles such as East/West and the 2022 film Mnogoetazhka.
Directing and Literature
In 1998, Dogileva expanded her professional scope to include stage directing. Her initial project was an adaptation of Noël Coward’s Private Lives, titled Moonlight, a Honeymoon. She went on to direct plays such as Moscow Passions and Fallen Angels. In 2007, she made her directorial debut in film with Lera. By 2010, she published her first novel, The Life and Adventures of Sveta Khokhryakova, which addressed socio-economic disparities in modern Russia.
Public Advocacy
Beyond her artistic contributions, Dogileva has participated in civic campaigns focused on environmental protection and architectural preservation. In 2010, she engaged in public protests regarding the demolition of historical buildings in Moscow, an act of activism that resulted in her brief arrest at a construction site.
