Versace relocated permanently to Milan in 1976. In 1977, he co-founded Gianni Versace SpA, where he served as chief executive officer until 2004. During this period, he managed the organization's finance, production, sales, and distribution networks. His influence extended to industry leadership, including his appointment as president of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, a role he held from 1998 to 1999.
Political and Humanitarian Contributions
Beyond the fashion sector, Versace entered the political arena as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Republic, serving from 2008 to 2013 representing the constituency of Calabria.
