At nine years old, he began his formal education at Kadırga Elementary School. He subsequently attended Istanbul High School before securing a position at a public boarding school in Bilecik. His secondary education concluded with graduation from Bilecik Junior High School and Kütahya High School. Sabri Ülker married Güzide Iman, who was born in Balıkesir in 1924 to a tradesman named Muharrem İman and his wife Sabih. The couple had three children: Ahsen Özokur, Murat Ülker, and Ali Ülker, the latter of whom died young. Sabri Ülker died on 12 June 2012 at the age of 92 and was interred at Topkapı Cemetery.
