In 2021, she filed a complaint against businessman Nasir Uddin Mahmood, alleging sexual assault at the Boat Club in Ashulia. Following this event, she faced accusations of vandalism from the All Community Club. In August 2021, the Rapid Action Battalion raided her Banani residence, leading to her arrest on narcotics-related charges. She remained in detention for 27 days before receiving bail. By April 2024, investigation reports from the Police Bureau of Investigation alleged her involvement in a murder attempt against Mahmood.
