A transfer fee of 5.5 million euros to Polish club Widzew Łódź on 19 December 2025 marked the most expensive deal in Ekstraklasa history for Osman Bukari. This move represented the latest evolution in a professional journey that has spanned leagues in Slovakia, Belgium, France, Serbia, and Poland for the Accra-born winger.
Early Career in Slovakia
Bukari began his professional trajectory in Europe with the Slovak side AS Trenčín, moving from the Accra Lions in July 2018. Over two seasons, he made 66 appearances, contributing 16 goals and 25 assists. His performance level during the 2019–20 season led to his selection for the league's best XI and a nomination for the top player of that campaign.
