Early Career and Collaborations
Nissim became a fixture at the Theater Club during the 1980s. This venue served as a hub for his emerging professional relationships. By 1993, he produced the debut single Saida Sultana for Dana International. The two collaborated on subsequent albums including her 1993 self-titled debut and the 1994 release Umpatampa, supported by appearances on the television show Siba La’mesiba.

In 1998, Nissim produced the song Diva for the 43rd Eurovision Song Contest. The track, written by Svika Pick and performed by Dana International, secured Israel’s third victory in the competition. Following the contest, Nissim and Dana International ended their partnership due to artistic differences, leading Nissim to transition into a full-time career as a disc jockey.
Global Remixing and Recognition
Throughout the 2000s, Nissim collaborated with singer Maya Simantov and DJ Peter Rauhofer. His portfolio includes official remixes for artists such as Madonna, Cher, Christina Aguilera, and the Pet Shop Boys. Between 2006 and 2009, he consistently ranked on DJ Magazine’s annual list of Top 100 DJs, peaking at 29th in 2006 and appearing again in 2007, 2008, and 2009.
