Natalie Horler

Natalie Horler, born in Bonn in 1981, established a career in the European dance music scene as the lead vocalist of Cascada. A multi-faceted entertainer, her professional life spans work as a singer, television presenter, model, and journalist. She achieved international prominence through the success of the group's debut studio album, which garnered significant attention in both European and American markets.

Early Career and Formation of Cascada

Beginning her musical training at 14, Horler initially performed in cocktail bars in Bonn. By 17, she secured studio engagements and subsequently collaborated with various producers, including Manian and Yanou. Her early work included the track Piece of Heaven. In 2002, she formed the group Cascada, originally named Cascade, alongside Manian and Yanou, with dancers Essa and Falk supporting their tours.

Commercial Breakthrough

The group's 2006 debut album, Everytime We Touch, achieved notable success, reaching No. 10 on the US Hot 100 and No. 2 in the UK charts. This international recognition earned them the World's Best Selling German Artist award in 2007. Subsequent albums, including Perfect Day and Evacuate the Dancefloor, solidified her presence in the pop and electropop charts across Europe, Canada, and the United States.

Television and Independent Projects

Horler expanded her media presence through television work, including hosting the music request show Back @ Ya on the Canadian channel bpm:tv in 2006. She also presented The Clubland Top 50 on 4Music and served as a judge for the ninth season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar in 2012. More recently, she transitioned Cascada into a solo project for the 2024 album Studio 24.

Personal Life and Public Image

Horler married banker Moritz Raffelberg in Italy on 11 May 2011, having designed her own wedding dress for the occasion. The couple has one daughter, born on 21 September 2015. Outside of her musical career, she appeared on the cover of the German edition of Playboy in August 2011.
