He launched Canadian Natural Resources Ltd, which undertook a $25 billion investment plan for oil extraction in northern Alberta. His holdings extend to Ensign Energy Services Inc, Canada's second-largest oil services firm, where he serves as chairman. Additionally, he acts as Chairman of the Board for Magellan Aerospace Corporation, where he holds approximately 76% of common shares.
