Myles Nazem Amine secured a bronze medal in the men’s freestyle 86 kg wrestling event at the 2020 Summer Olympics, competing internationally for San Marino. Born in Howell, United States, in 1996, he holds dual citizenship through his maternal great-grandparents, Germano and Pierina Mularoni, enabling his representation of the Sammarinese flag on the global stage.

Collegiate Athletics

Amine attended Detroit Catholic Central High School before enrolling at the University of Michigan. Representing the Michigan Wolverines, he established a record as a five-time NCAA Division I All-American. Within the Big Ten Conference, he claimed two championships and appeared as a finalist on four separate occasions. During the 2021 national championships, he entered the competition as the top-seeded 197-pound wrestler, ultimately placing third.

International Competition

His freestyle career includes consistent performances in major continental and world events. In 2022, he achieved a gold medal in the 86 kg weight class at the Mediterranean Games in Oran, Algeria. Later that year, he competed in the World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia. Returning to Belgrade in 2023, he captured a bronze medal in the 86 kg division, securing a quota place for San Marino at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

In February 2024, Amine earned a silver medal at the European Wrestling Championships in Bucharest, Romania. During the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, he participated in the men's freestyle 86 kg tournament, finishing outside the medal podium following a loss in his bronze medal match.
