A complete version of Relief of Fevers was found in Constantinople in 1727 and subsequently held by the French National Library in Paris. Scholarly interest in his work continued into the 20th century, with Ernst Seidel publishing a complete German translation in 1908. In 1989, the Yerevan State Medical University adopted his name, establishing the Mkhitar Heratsi Scholarship to support medical students.
