Maurice de Hirsch

German financier and philanthropist (1831–1896)

Maurice de Hirsch (1831–1896) was a German financier and philanthropist. Hirsch was born in Munich on 9 December 1831. He died in Hurbanovo on 21 April 1896, at the age of 65.

Hirsch was elected to Jewish Colonization Association.

Hirsch was the son of Josef von Hirsch. He married Clara de Hirsch. He had one recorded child, Lucien de Hirsch de Gereuth. He is recorded as following Judaism.
