Henry’s weightlifting career saw him qualify for the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona and the 1996 Summer Olympics. Between 1993 and 1997, he held all three senior American weightlifting records. His regional achievements included winning the 1996 NACAC championship and earning gold, silver, and bronze medals at the 1995 Pan American Games. He additionally claimed victories at the 1992 American Open and the U.S. Olympic Festival Championships in 1993 and 1994.
Professional Wrestling and Strongman
In 1996, Henry joined the World Wrestling Federation. During his tenure, he achieved the ECW Championship in 2008 and the World Heavyweight Championship in 2011, becoming the fourth black world champion in WWE history. Beyond his wrestling accomplishments, he won the inaugural Arnold Strongman Classic in 2002. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018 and maintains an affiliation with the organization under a Legends contract.
