Musical Career and CNBLUE
Lee underwent training with FNC Entertainment starting in 2009. By September of that year, he joined the band CNBLUE, stepping in as the group's bassist. Beyond his role on bass, he contributes as a rapper and backup vocalist for the ensemble. The band achieved its debut in South Korea during January 2010. Lee later expanded his musical profile as a soloist, releasing the Japanese single Blue Orion on July 22, 2019, followed by a five-track album in September of that same year.

The actor entered the television industry in 2012 with a role in the KBS2 family drama Seoyoung, My Daughter, which reached a 47.6% viewership rating. Subsequent roles included appearances in The Blade and Petal in 2013 and the 2014 melodrama Temptation, the latter earning him a Best New Rising Star award at the 3rd DramaFever Awards. He moved into leading roles with the 2015 drama special Thank You, My Son and the 2017 series Longing Heart. His credits also include the 2016 romantic comedy Cinderella with Four Knights and the 2021 web series Summer Guys.
Military Service and National Duties
Lee entered mandatory military service on July 31, 2018. Following his period of basic training, he engaged in various public duties, including hosting the Armed Forces Festival held between October 5 and October 9, 2018. He also acted as the master of ceremonies for a military music concert marking the 70th anniversary of the soldier establishment on October 10, 2018. He concluded his service on March 19, 2020, following an ETS leave.
Philanthropic Endeavors
The artist has participated in several charitable efforts, often collaborating with the LOVE FNC Foundation. In June 2018, he hosted a photo exhibition titled We Blew Away Dandelion Puffs at the Canon Gallery in Seoul to fund scholarships in Myanmar. He later donated 10 million won in April 2019 to assist victims of forest fires in Gangwon Province. In 2021, he partnered with photographer Alex Kim to hold a V Live broadcast aimed at supporting the Alex Primary School in the Himalayas.
