Kyrylo Budanov (born 1986) is the Chief of Staff of president Zelensky. Budanov was born in Kyiv on 4 January 1986.
Budanov served as Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine (from 2026). He worked in military intelligence. He was attached to Office of the President of Ukraine (from 2026) and Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (2007–2026).
Budanov was awarded Order for Courage 1st Class of Ukraine, Order for Courage 2nd Class of Ukraine, Order for Courage 3rd Class of Ukraine, Personal Achievements Medal, 2nd class and Cross of Military Merit (2022). He was educated at Odesa Military Academy.
Budanov married Marianna Oleksandrivna Budanova.
