Signed by West Ham United for £6.1 million on 1 July 2007, his arrival was complicated by a ruptured achilles tendon sustained during a pre-season friendly against Sigma Olomouc. After recovering, he debuted for the Hammers in January 2008. Over several seasons, he secured a role as the first-choice right back, eventually helping the club earn promotion during the 2011–12 season before his departure.
International and Global Career
Faubert earned a single cap for the France national team on 16 August 2006, scoring in a 2–1 victory against Bosnia and Herzegovina while wearing the number 10 shirt. He later switched his international allegiance to Martinique in 2014. His global career path saw him play for Elazığspor in Turkey, Kilmarnock in Scotland, FC Inter Turku in Finland, and Borneo in Indonesia.
Transition to Management
Following his extensive playing career across multiple continents, Faubert moved into coaching roles.
