Juan Luis Cipriani Thorne (born 1943) is a Peruvian basketball player, Catholic priest and Catholic bishop. Cipriani was born in Lima on 28 December 1943.

Cipriani competed in basketball. He served as cardinal (from 2001), Roman Catholic Archbishop of Ayacucho (from 1995), Roman Catholic Archbishop of Lima (from 1999) and titular bishop (from 1988). He was attached to University of Piura.

Cipriani was awarded Grand Cross of the Order of the Sun of Peru and Medal of Honor of the Congress of the Republic of Peru. He took part in the 2013 conclave and the 2005 conclave. He was elected to Prelature of the Holy Cross and Opus Dei and Priestly Society of the Holy Cross. He was educated at University of Navarre and National University of Engineering.
